Your Summerhaze large candle will burn for approximately 45 hours in ideal conditions. Your hand poured candle is designed for maximum burn time, however can be impacted by a number of factors. Trimming wicks after each burn, placement of the candle within your space (away from drafts or air conditioners) and the length of each burn time will all impact on the life of your candle.

Our jars are 10cm high (without the lid on), with a circumference of 8.5cm. Burn time of the candle is approximately 45 hours.

Yes. This will optimise the even burn of your candle and avoid any superficial marks on the jar. As candles burn, the wax level drops. The exposed wicks become longer, so we advise trimming the wicks to 7mm. Maintaining an upright posture prior to each new burn will assist in giving maximum burn time from your Summerhaze candle.

Yes. We will happily exchange your order within 30 days of dispatch, provided products are unopened, unused and in resalable condition. 

Once you have finished burning your Summerhaze candle, simply wipe out the last remnants of wax with warm, soapy water, pull out the wick and wick sticker and it’s ready to go! Our labels are vinyl so won’t be damaged from light contact with water.

No. We have designed our candles not to smoke by using pure cotton, lead free wicks. This is providing you keep the wick trimmed to 5mm – 8mm in length before each lighting. We recommend candle wick trimmers as a perfect tool for this. Longer candle wicks are the primary cause of candle smoking and black soot forming around your candle glass. In this instance, you can wipe the inside of your glass once it has completely cooled.

If you aren’t ready to put your candles on display, you can store them in a cool, dry place, free from dust and protected from direct sunlight. When on display, it’s best to keep the wooden lid on your candle to protect it from dust and preserve a strong scent throw.
